Last updated: 19 July 2026

Adailson Moreira dos Santos, empresário em nome individual ("DietDash", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

DietDash is a nutrition-first ordering platform connecting health-food kitchens with diners across Europe.

Data controller: Adailson Moreira dos Santos, empresário em nome individual. For any privacy request, contact [email protected].

2. Data we collect

Account & kitchen data: name, email, business name, city, website or social handle, and menu/nutritional information you provide.

Diner data: email, city, and — once ordering — order history and delivery details.

Waitlist data: email and city submitted through our forms.

Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, and usage analytics collected to operate and secure the service.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

To provide the service and fulfil orders — performance of a contract.

To contact founding-cohort applicants and waitlist subscribers — consent, withdrawable at any time.

To secure, improve and analyse the platform — our legitimate interests.

To meet accounting and legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details. Stripe acts as an independent processor under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the service (e.g. hosting, email, analytics, payments), under data-processing agreements. We never sell your personal data.

6. Data location & retention

Data is hosted by our infrastructure providers under GDPR data-processing agreements. We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).

8. Cookies

We use a language-preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that is strictly necessary to remember your chosen language.

Any analytics or non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
